General Information

Programme Objective

The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing as a career. After acquiring the Bachelor's Degree (BCA) at IGNOU or Master programme at other Universities.

Programme FeeRs.6,800 per Year inclusive of Examination fee + Rs. 3000 for CIC and Rs. 600 for MTE-03 for non-Maths students
Eligibility

10+2 with Mathematics as a distinct subject. Those who have not studied mathematics as a distinct subject at 10+2 level will have to register for both MTE-03 and CIC along with Ist semester of BCA. Such students have to successfully complete CIC and MTE-03 before registering for the 3rd semester of the BCA programme.

Credit System

The University follows the 'Credit System' for its programmes. Each credit is of 30 hours of study comprising all learning activities. Thus, a four-credit course involves 120 study hours. This helps the students to understand the academic efforts one has to put into, in order to successfully complete a course. Completion of an academic programme requires successful clearing of all assignments (CMA, TMA and Project) and Term-end-Examination of each course in the programme. Therefore, to qualify successfully in the course students have to submit TMA, Project along with viva voice and appear for practical assignment.
