The DOEACC Society is an autonomous body under the Department
of IT, Ministry of Communications and I.T., Government of India
offering four levels of govt. certified computer courses. These
include 'O' as foundation level, 'A' as advanced level, 'B' as MCA level and 'C' as
M.Tech. level programme.

OBJECTIVE |
|
|
The objective of DOEACC Scheme is to train global IT
professionals that meet the escalating demand of the
industry. DOEACC qualifications are endorsed by software
industry through NASSCOM (National Association of Software
Services Companies) and accepted by government and public
sectors, banks, and various national and multinational
companies for employment. |

JAPAN ACCEPTS
'A' LEVEL
DIPLOMA HOLDERS
DOEACC 'A'/ 'B' level qualifiers are fully
eligible to apply for working visa to Japan & in Japanese
MNCs across the world. The 'A' level examination has been
declared equivalent to 'Fundamental Information Technology
Engineers Examination of Skill Standards (FE-SS)' of Japan. |
U.S.A.'s H1-B VISA FOR
'B' (MCA) LEVEL
DIPLOMA HOLDERS
The qualification has been assessed as
equivqlent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in USA
by an accredited evaluator. Thus the 'B' (MCA) level
qualifiers are fully eligible for H1-B working visa. |

'B' level examination has been declared equivalent to 'CITPM

DOEACC Education

UPTEC Centres have been rated as ‘A+’ (Excellent) or ‘A’
(Very Good) by DOEACC Society, Deptt. of IT, Ministry of
Communications & IT, Govt. of India.

More than 20,000 students have acquired DOEACC
qualifications from UPTEC. UPTEC students are consistently securing merit positions
in the DOEACC – All India Examinations.

The highly qualified faculty comprises of MCAs, B.Es,
B.Techs., Ph.D, Microsoft Certified Trainers, Cisco
Certified Academy Instructors, Red Hat Certified Faculty and
Oracle Certified Trainers.

The curriculum is up-to-date and taught in – depth.

ISRD division has already published more than 70 titles on
IT subjects, including school books for classes IX-XII on
CBSE/ISC patterns, books for IGNOU courses upto MCA level

DOEACC Activities and Schedules
For every student pursuing any of the DOEACC programmes, two
types of registrations are required, namely, programme
registration and examination registration with DOEACC
Society.
Programme Registration
-
Every student pursuing DOEACC ‘A’
level programme has to register with DOEACC Society once
at the beginning.
-
Registration is a pre-requisite
for appearing in a DOEACC examination.
-
Student can register at only one
Level at any point of time for appearing for an
examination.
-
Student should apply for DOEACC
Registration by filling the prescribed form through
institute.
-
DOEACC Registration forms are
available with programme executive free of cost.
-
Student will get a Registration
No. directly from DOEACC Society.
-
Registration Fee: Rs. 300/-
(including cost of DOEACC Publications)
-
Registration is open throughout
the year. However, cut-off dates have been prescribed
for receipt of completed registration form at DOEACC
Society, as follows:-

Examination Registration
-
Separate examination registration
(as distinct from programme registration) is a
pre-requisite for students for appearing for each DOEACC
examination.

DOEACC Examination are held all
over India twice in a year starting from second
Saturdays of January and July.

Under no circumstance any request
with respect to the late submission will be entertained
and application received after cut-off date would be
summarily rejected.

Cost of Examination Form is Rs.
25/-
-
Instructions for completing the
examination forms should be strictly followed. Separate
instruction sheets are supplied along with examination
form with update details pertaining to examination &
submission of examination form.
Examination Fee
-
Examination fee is Rs. 300/- per
module/paper and practical examination fee is Rs. 150/-.
In addition, an amount of Rs. 30/- should be sent along
with examination fee towards postal charges for mailing
the admit cards & result sheet.
-
Remittance of examination fees
should be made through challan with examination form at
an authorized branch of Bank of India or through Demand
Draft in favour of ‘DOEACC’ payable at New Delhi.
-
Examination fees once paid will
not be refunded under any circumstances, except when a
candidate has sent an examination form for appearing in
a module, with a requisite fee, before the declaration
of the result of previous examination and subsequently
he has passed in the module (s) applied for.
DOEACC Improvement Examinations
Students can appear in DOEACC improvement examination for
improving their grade in particular paper, subject to
following conditions:
-
Students who have cleared all the modules of
level are eligible to take up the improvement examination.
-
Improvement examination is permissible for a
single model paper only and same must be taken up
immediately after clearing all the modules.
-
Only one chance is given for appearing in
improvement examinations.
-
Chance would be available within the validity
period of registration.
-
Students who have received the
Diploma/Certificate from DOEACC would not be eligible for
this facility.
-
Candidate would be awarded a grade, which is
higher of the two examinations.
-
Improvement examination fee is Rs. 500/-.
Admit Card/Identity Card
-
Candidates who are found eligible will be
issued Admit Card & Identity Card well before commencement
of examination.
-
Candidate who may not have received their
Admit Card/Identity Card from DOEACC Society by 30th
June/31st December for July/January examinations
respectively may contact Programme Executive of the
institute immediately.
Result of Examination
-
Results are published on the DOEACC website
and grade sheets are sent to the candidates directly from
DOEACC Society.
-
Re-totaling can be requested within one month
of the date of publication of results along with a fee of
Rs. 200/- per paper.
DOEACC Awards & Prizes
To encourage the students, DOEACC Society Awards
‘Certificate of Merit’ to ‘O’ Level toppers. In addition to
Certificate of Merit following prizes are also awarded.

Prof. S. Sampath Awards & Cash Prize of Rs.
5,000/- to the topper.
-
Certificates & Cash Award of Rs. 2,000/- & Rs.
1,000/- to students obtainingsecond and third ranks
respectively.
The ranking for these positions is based on the marks
obtained by the students in all the four modules of ‘O’
Level, subject to the following:
-
All four modules papers are cleared in 1st
attempt and;
-
In not more than two examinations, which should
be consecutive.
All India DOEACC ‘O’ Level Project Competition
To encourage students and to use their knowledge & skills
acquired during study, DOEACC Society organizes annually All
India ‘O’ Level Project Competitions. UPTEC facilitates &
forwards projects of their students for competition after
short listing. These projects should be original and dealing
with real life problems. It should not be copied from
existing material from any source. DOEACC Society awards
‘Certificate of Merit’ and Cash Prize to 1st and 2nd rank
holders. Selection of these ranks are based upon performance
in presentation of short-listed projects.
